


















We celebrated the premiere of LatinFest and we’re still buzzing from the incredible energy and talent! Special thanks to everyone involved - guests came in from all over Texas, nationally and we even had a few international guests!
A special thank you to The Good Wolf Live for seamless music production, Siete Foods, Meanwhile Beer, and Tequila 512 for providing snacks and beverages that kept the festivities flowing.

Our first Art Exhibit was wonderful, we’re grateful for the incredible art installations from Lys Santamaria, Courtney Arte, Mauro de la Tierra, Cecilia Yakin, and Xingaderas.
Artists reflected on the theme of masks in Latiné culture - marked by a panel with Claudia Zapata.
The event was highlighted by dance performances from the incredible Oro Dance Company and Tusuy Songo Perú.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this powerful exhibit, we look forward to having more art shows at LatinFest in the future. - and plan to expand LatinFest’s programming with literary and film components. We’re seeking partnerships and a venue for next year’s event.

Creative Workshops
We hosted four guest artists to teach paper maché mask making, embroidery, hojalata, and colima clay methods - all during Latinfest!

We exhibited student work from the mask-making workshop during Latinfest’s art show - thank you to all the guests who participated and shared their work with us.
